Forever a Kodak Girl at Heart

Originally from the city where Kodak’s headquarters were based in yesteryear (Rochester, NY),  Sarah grew up with a camera from a very young age. Long before her love of birds, photography created another layer of connection between Sarah and the world around her.  From point-and-click family and friend memories, to a small professional wedding photography business in Massachuessts, the most complex subject she came across were birds. Initially lacking a quality pair of binoculars, she used cameras (whether a smart phone or DSL) to peer into the world of birds closer, with more intent.

In the late summer of 2024, she eventually found herself fascinated about them and began to see them for more than just a subject. She realized that through birding, you could connect people to the places we inhabit—and to one another. With a camera, she’s been able to capture both the birds and the birders with equal curiosity and joy. By no means a professional, merely curious and eager, she invites you to find her a “few” of her favorite images highlighted in the gallery with more galleries to come.
